The Gladiator Wrestling Club ended the year at the No Guts No Glory tournament in Rocklin. The tournament featured 400 wrestlers and was a tough but great experience for the Gladiators. Overall the Gladiators brought home 16 medals including 1 1st place, 10 2nd place finishes, and 5 placed 3rd.
Finishing in 1st place was Brayden Paminto who pinned all three of his opponents.
Taking 2nd were Jameson Philpot, Colin Crow, Maverick Paminto, Thomas Philpot, Brantley Paminto, Michael Cox, Branson Whittle, Brayden Paminto, Zamod Jackson.
In 3rd place were Elijah Tucker, Kaitlyn Crow, Brian Patrick, Kailaya Philpot, Logun Whittle.
Rocklin wasn’t the only place where the Gladiators were in action as Hector, Nevaeh, Laylony all competed at the Willows Tournament. Hector and Nevaeh both went 1-2 and did not place while Laylony went 1-3 taking 4th place.
The Gladiators continue the new year at Middletown’s New Year’s Resolution tournament on Sunday, January 7.
