The Civil Grand Jury released their annual Final Reports on June 30 with a section devoted to an investigation into the Clearlake animal shelter. Finding some inadequacies as a result of staffing and budgetary issues, the Civil Grand Jury made suggestions as to how the shelter can improve overall conditions for the animals and better serve the community.
