The parking lot was full at the Calpine station in Middletown on Monday. The public hearing on the Maha Guenoc Valley project was slated to begin at 5 pm. The Community Development Department of Lake County relocated the event originally scheduled for Sept. 3 in Lakeport, to Middletown. Many of the speakers expressed their gratitude for the change in venue, saving a rush hour commute to Lakeport.
