During the Cobb Area Council's monthly meeting on September 19, Mary Prather reported that the Cobb Lions made a $10,000 profit on the Blackberry Cobbler Festival and were instituting needed repairs to the building where the meeting was taking place. Ashley Strunk announced the grand opening of the new Boston Steakhouse on Saturday Sept. 21 at Belmont Pines Golf Course. They will be opening seven days per week with the kitchen open 4 to 9 pm. Friday and Saturday the bar, Broderick’s Off the Fairway, will remain open until 10 pm.
