LAKE COUNTY >> Car club members join in and help many of the local motorcycle club members unload toys and gifts into a trailer in Upper Lake at the start of this year’s Toy Run on Saturday December 14. They then proceeded to the Lake County Fairgrounds. There were in the neighborhood of over 200 people who received toys and gifts for the holiday season with the help of the Motorcycle and Car club members, along with their friends and family’s support during the event. In addition, the band “Time Travelers” out of Lower Lake will donate their time, stating they do it “for the kids.” Friday night starting at 5 p.m. at the Freedom Riders Club house located at 2598 S. Main Street in Lakeport there will be tables full of toys and gifts to hand out and an opportunity to get your picture taken with Santa and the Grinch.
