LOWER LAKE>>> The Lower Lake Boys varsity basketball team (0-8) lost Friday’s home conference game against Kelseyville (7-1) by a score of 67-56. The Knights are 12-8 overall this season but have won only four out of five away games including Friday’s conference game matchup. Head-to-head the Knights have bested the Trojans twice, winning an earlier contest on Dec. 10, 2024, 76-22 despite the fact the Trojans came into the game Friday scoring more points per game (28.8 versus 12.4) and rebounds (16.3 versus 8) than their opposition. Kyle Watkins and Noah Hakala led scoring for Kelseyville and the host Trojans respectively. Kelseyville returns to action tonight with a home league game of top teams against the Middletown Mustangs (15-5). Tip off for the game is 6:30 p.m. Meanwhile, Lower Lake is taking a road trip to Fort Bragg. Photos by Minenna Photography.
