Kelseyville came tearing into Tuesday’s matchup with six straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 18.5 points) and they left with even more momentum. They came out on top against the Middletown Mustangs by a score of 53-44. This was a revenge game for the Knights: when they faced off against the Mustangs back in December of 2024, they had to take a 61-50 loss.

Kelseyville pushed their record up to 13-8 with the victory, which was their third straight at home. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 63.0 points per game. As for Middletown, the defeat snapped their winning streak at three games and leaves them with a 15-6 record.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Kelseyville will venture away from home to square off against St. Helena at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. St. Helena knows how to get points on the board — the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past six contests — so hopefully Kelseyville likes a good challenge. As for Middletown, they will take on Lower Lake at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
