MIDDLETOWN>>> Middletown High School’s Girls basketball defeated Clear Lake 57-39 in a home conference game following a strong start to the first half of play in which the Mustangs outscored the visiting Cardinals 27-15.

The Mustangs are 20-5 overall this season, and second in the North Central I League at 12-2 and on a three-game winning streak, unbeaten at home this season, as they prepare to square off against Mt. Eden Tuesday night in the 2025 North Coast Section Girls Basketball Championships at Middletown High School. Tip-off is at 7 p.m.

Middletown won the last time they faced Upper Lake earlier in the week and things went their way on Tuesday too. Everything went the Middletown Mustangs’ way against the Upper Lake Cougars as the Middletown Mustangs made off with a 47-21 win. The Mustangs have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won seven matchups by 21 points or more this season.
