2025 Summer Concert Series Mixer!
Join us for this free of charge joint mixer between the Lake County Chamber of Commerce and BiCoastal Media (KXBX). Happening this Thursday, March 20 5:30 p.m. at 7:30 p.m. Location: 140 N. Main St. Lakeport.
Join BiCoastal Media, the Lake County Chamber of Commerce and local businesses for our 2025 KXBX Summer Concert Series Mixer. This is your opportunity to preview the bands and sign up to be a Concert Sponsor. Businesses that sign up at this event will get an early sign-up bonus of 30 radio commercials ($300 value). LAKE COUNTY
Lake County Women’s Civic Club supports high school students with scholarships
The Lake County Women’s Civic Club (LCWCC) is continuing their community support by offering three high school students a great opportunity in helping with college or vocational program expenses. LCWCC is giving three $1,200 scholarships to graduating seniors who are pursuing a vocational career at a junior college or vocational school. These programs prepare students for careers such as mechanics, hair dressers, carpentry, dental assistants, plumbing, forestry and others. In order to qualify for these scholarships a student must be a Lake County resident and a full-time student with a grade point average of at least 2.75.
High School Counselors have been given the applications for students to complete. Community involvement, experience, transcripts and two letters of recommendations will be needed to complete the applications.
The deadline to submit applications to Counselors is April 25, 2025.

Join us for a beautiful and uplifting Sonrise Service on Easter Sunday, April 20, at 6:45 AM at the Xabatin Community Park Pavilion led by the Worship Team from United Christian Parish of Lakeport. As the sun rises over Clear Lake, we will welcome the joy of Easter morning with song and the Word in a special outdoor worship service.
All are invited to attend this community gathering of faith and renewal. Please bring a chair and dress warmly, as we greet the morning in the crisp spring air.

Hop Into Spring with the Easter Bunny Meet and Greet
Get ready for an egg-citing opportunity to meet the Easter Bunny! Families and friends are invited to capture special memories with the Easter Bunny at four beautifully decorated locations throughout Lakeport this April. This is a free event, so bring your cameras and hop on over for a delightful photo opportunity with everyone’s favorite springtime visitor!
The Easter Bunny Meet and Greet will be held from 1 P.M. to 3 P.M. at the following locations:
Friday, April 5 – Skylark Resort (Outdoor setting with a festive Easter backdrop)
Friday, April 12 – Ferrigno’s Italian Baked Goods (Corner of 3rd & Main Street, Lakeport)
Saturday, April 13 – Flowers By Jackie at the Second Sunday Market (High Street Village Shopping Center, Lakeport)
Friday, April 19 – The Shoe Box (Safeway Shopping Center, Lakeport)
