The Lake County Passion Play, a live performance that depicts the life of Christ from the Passover to the Resurrection, is calling for volunteers to join its cast. This one-of-a-kind production brings the story of Christ’s final days to life and is seeking passionate individuals to help portray this journey.

No acting experience is required! All community members are invited to participate in this incredible opportunity to be part of a memorable and moving theatrical presentation. Rehearsals for the play will be held every Sunday from 1:30 p.m. to 4 p.m. at the Passion Play Grounds, 7010 Westlake Road, right off highway 29 between Lakeport and Upper Lake. New cast members can join up until April 13. Performances are scheduled for May 17 and 18 at 4 p.m.

In addition to performers, the Lake County Passion Play is also in need of horses and riders to be part of the presentation, as well as sheep or goats to help bring authenticity to the show.

If you are interested in volunteering for the cast or offering your animals for the performance, please reach out to Laura at (707)533-3406 or email laura.barnes@laketheatre.org. For more information about the show, check our website: www.lakecountypassionplay.org
