LAKE COUNTY>> From a lucky customer in Hidden Valley, to improvements to the Soper Reese Theater updates in Lakeport, it was another busy Spring news week. Something big happened at Hidden Valley Lake Grocery Outlet Thursday, April 24, one of their customers, Michaele Webster, was randomly selected to win groceries for life.
She received 12 $500 gift cards that she can use at any Grocery Outlet. Grocery Outlet Inc. held their Win Groceries for Life sweepstakes from January 8 to March 31. When customers entered, they could win one of the following three prizes: Groceries for a month; groceries for a year or even possibly groceries for life.
Webster shopped at Hidden Valley Lake Grocery Outlet at least once a week and made sure she used the Grocery Outlet app each time.
To have a winner come out of one of our local Grocery Outlet is huge because this was a contest that was held throughout the company with all over 500 stores, Coral Pratt, Grocery Outlet management team member informed the community.
Meanwhile, the vision to renovate and expand the Soper Reese Theater continues to be alive in Lakeport with plans to provide better access for handicap patrons and to increase the options for uses due to the efforts of many volunteers, the generosity of the community to increase local donations to $300,000, and grants from HUD and the City of Lakeport redevelopment agency are contributing to this vision.
