LAKE COUNTY>>> As we wrap up the month of June this week, we look back at some of the events which took the spotlight in the county including the annual commemoration of Juneteenth which took place at the MAC in Middletown, the law enforcement torch run for Special Olympics in Lakeport, and the annual Baconfest Father’s Day festival in Main Street Kelseyville where hundreds celebrated with their families and friends earlier in the month. Juneteenth saw a packed house at the premiere place for the arts in south county, while this year’s Lake County Law Enforcement Torch Run for Special Olympics Northern California on June 17 with multiple agencies participating including the Lake County Sheriff’s Office, Lakeport Police Department, Lake County Probation Department and California Highway Patrol.
