John Phillips

John Phillips is a CNN political commentator and can be heard weekdays at 3 p.m. on “The Drive Home with Jillian Barberie and John Phillips” on KABC/AM 790. Phillips earned a Bachelor of Arts in political science as a magna cum laude graduate of California State University at Fullerton and studied American politics at Claremont Graduate University. He transitioned into talk radio by way of Sultana High School in Hesperia, Calif., where he worked as a teacher for a year.
