Judy Swenson- Thompson fondly known as “The Frostie Lady” was born on July 2nd, 1941, and sadly passed away on May 3rd, 2025. For over 30 years, Judy was a cherished figure in the community as the owner and operator of the Nice Frostie. Judy is survived by her loving husband of 25 years, Rodger Thompson from Nice, CA, and her stepchildren: Dana Thompson-Stoeckel (Arlington, WA), Chris Thompson (Seattle, WA), Nick Thompson (Lakeport, CA), and Melissa Thompson (Oakland, CA). She also leaves behind her grandchildren Genevieve and Connor Stoeckel (Arlington, WA) and Reed Thompson (Lakeport, CA). Judy’s love extended to many in the community, including her “Frostie girls” Tabetha Collins and Nikki Carte, who surrounded her with love up to the very end. We would love for you to join us at Keeling Park in Nice on Saturday, June 21st, starting at 11 am to celebrate Judy’s life and share your favorite memories of her and the Frostie.
